Do you ever have that moment when a kid is looking at you and you realize that they’re looking at you as a grown up? Then its like no child im a children too, dont. Im sorry my outward appearance confuses you.
It’s true, what they say about heartbreaks. You feel it on your chest. In your arms. Captivating your entire body. They’re also right when they say breaking a bone is more painful. I’ve never broken a bone, but oh god have I gotten my heart broken. I imagine a bone break to shatter up to where the broken limb is, while a heartbreak travels through your body. Coursing your blood stream. You never really forget your first heartbreak. You don’t really forget any of them. They always kind of stay with you. Unless you get really lucky and one day you wake up and don’t feel anything weighing on your chest, or any pins in your arms. Nothing’s dragging your heart to the pit of your stomach anymore. You’re finally free. Then one day, you see them. Smell them on your favorite t-shirt. You start to reminisce on the memories all over again. You think about how they used to hold you, and accompany you with three deadly words; “I love you”. It’s not the end of the world, god no. It is, however, the end of your sanity. Poof. Just like their love for you, it disappears.
